Japanese Horror Tales releases new poster

The famous horror stories of Junji Ito will get a new anime with Netflix next year, and Junji Ito: Japanese Tales of the Macabre is preparing for its release with its first poster! Ito is probably one of the most famous manga makers in the world due to the artist’s distinct style in the Horror movie, but the creators’ work has been difficult to break off the page. Despite the number of attempts to do so over the years, there are still many of his famous stories that have yet to be filmed in a proper project adaptation. This will change in many stories soon.

Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Terrible 20 stories from famous creators that have not been made into anime before will be adapted. This includes stories like Tomie and Souichi, The Hanging Balloons, The Room With 4 Walls, and new stories added to the collection like Ice Cream Truck, Library Vision, Headless Statue, and Tomb Town. To celebrate the addition of new members to the cast and new stories, the series has dropped its first poster as well. Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Terrible It will be released worldwide on Netflix on January 19 next year. New additions to the cast of the four new confirmed stories include Ryotaro Okiayu as Sonohara, Sara Matsumoto as Tomoki, Takatsugu Chikamatsu as Ice Cream Man, Ryohei Kimura as Tsuyoshi Yoshikawa, MAO as Kaoru Yoshikawa, and Aya Uchida as Izumi Murakami, Yuki Kaji as Goro Shinozaki, Tomoe Hanba as Koko Shinozaki, Fumiko Orikasa as Rumi, and Takashi Kondo as Shimada.

They will join previously confirmed additions to Hisako Kanemoto as Sayoko, Yoko Hikasa as Chiemi, Natsumi Takamori as Kuriko, Takahiro Sakurai as Kazuya Hikizuri, Romi Park as Kiko, Hajime Iijima as Shigoro, Risa Shimizu as Narumi and Ayaka Asai as Hitoshi, Tomoko Kaneda as Misako, Riho Sugiyama as Kazuko Morinaka, Daisuke Kishio as Shinya Shishii, Iori Nomizu as Kagome Fujino, Rii Sugara as Tommy, Yumiri Hanamori as Tsukhiko Izumisawa, Taku Yashiro as Yamazaki , Tomokazu Sugita as Tachi, Hiroi Yuji Mitsuya as Soichi, Yoshimasa Hosuya as Koichi, Yuka Saito as Sayuri, Yutaka Aoyama as Tagisu, and Hiro Shimono as Oshikiri. Recent additions to the cast include the likes of Ryotaro Ukiyayo as Sonohara, Sara Matsumoto as Tomoki, Takatsugo Shikamatsu as Ice Cream Man, Ryohei Kimura as Tsuyoshi Yoshikawa, Mao as Kaoru Yoshikawa, Aya Uchida as Izumi Murakami, Yuki Kaji, Guru Shino Zuz. Tomoe Hanba as Koko Shinozaki, Fumiko Orikasa as Rumi, and Takashi Kondo as Shimada.
